Inspired by a love of the Australian landscape, it's unique ecosystem, and all the amazing bush tucker it has to offer, in 1990 Ni Ni Well established a small one hectare Quandong AKA Desert Peach orchard in the northwest of Victoria.
Now 30 years on, we have significantly expanded our operations, growing large quantities of a range of native Australian produce, including Emu Apples, Desert Limes, Wattle Seed and of course Quandongs.
The name ‘Ni Ni Well’ refers to the specific location of our orchard. Once a small village, Ni Ni Well was named like many outback settlements, after the man made water source that enabled early Europeans to maintain a permanent presence. ‘Ni Ni’ is from the traditional owners’ (Wotjabuluk) language and translates as “here here”.
